Ford Motor Company Software Engineer interview experience

Their interview process felt thorough and covered multiple dimensions, starting from an intro through technical screening that included coding.

They seemed focused on evaluating different perspectives—culture, personality, and knowledge base—not just whether I could solve problems.

The panels tended to include more than two people, which made the dynamic feel heavier and more like a committee review. Even with the structured format, the difficulty came from the breadth of what they were trying to assess.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the biggest impression I had was that they were less interested in a single strong moment and more interested in consistency across the whole evaluation.
