I went through a short, fairly direct interview path that felt different from the longer assessment-center formats.

I applied and then got invited to a video interview with a senior developer or team lead. The conversation included a code review and cultural questions, mostly centered on my past experience rather than a deep grilling of theory.

I moved quickly—there wasn’t a long run of stages. In the process I experienced, once the video discussion finished, I was accepted very soon after the call.

Even with that positive speed, it still left me thinking about how much the company values the interpersonal side of the technical role—since the coding portion was wrapped into discussion and review.
