I walked into the interviews expecting something authentic, but what stood out was how often trick-like questions appeared.

Even though the company seemed to want to present a friendly tone—like acting casual and trying to make it feel low stakes—the questioning style didn’t always match that.

The interviewer behavior felt like it included small attempts to disarm you with comments that weren’t quite aligned with the seriousness of the evaluation. The result was a subtle undercurrent of uncertainty throughout.

I didn’t get an offer, and my reflection was that the emphasis on trickiness made the process feel less straightforward than they were trying to make it seem.
