FloQast Software Engineer interview experience

The whole conversation was about whether the role and I were a good general match, and it was framed like a first-pass fit check.

At the time, the plan was that if it went well, the next step would have been a technical interview. I ultimately decided not to pursue further after that screening.

Even though I didn’t reach the technical rounds, the experience was straightforward and focused. It felt like the process was mostly about alignment rather than testing anything deeply, and that made it easy to decide to step back.
