Flipkart Backend Engineer interview experience

Posted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a machine coding round centered on Flipkart Minutes, an instant delivery platform.

The whole task felt very product-shaped: I was asked to implement the core system so customers could place orders for items to be delivered quickly.

The round was essentially one coding challenge where I had to build the solution end-to-end for the quick-commerce workflow. The prompt was framed around the platform’s core behavior, and I focused on getting a working implementation that covered the expected mechanics rather than just passing a couple of test cases.

Overall, it was a straightforward but demanding coding-focused experience, with the emphasis on delivering complete working code
