Flipkart Backend Engineer interview experience

SDE 2Posted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an early machine-coding style interview that was very backend and very concrete.

The focus was building a conference room booking system, and the round asked me to write full working code, not just sketches. There were different features and edge cases baked into the prompt, so the time pressure pushed me to keep thinking about correctness as I implemented.

The round itself lasted about 90 minutes for the coding portion. After I submitted, there wasn’t a separate deep-dive interview described—what stood out to me was how much the problem required a full working solution that could handle the extra constraints.

Separately, I also experienced another screening/test format
