I applied online and the next day I got an email asking to book a phone interview.

I scheduled it for a few days later and the call happened at the set time. The interviewer was pleasant enough, but I could tell it was a quick, get-it-done conversation. She seemed to like how I answered some of the questions, but my lack of travel industry experience showed up as the main concern.

Two days later I received an email saying I wasn’t moving forward, and there was no real explanation. It honestly felt a bit abrupt, but it was still a useful learning experience—knowing that even with decent answers, the process heavily filtered for travel background early on.
