After moving through the earlier recruitment steps, I ended up in the longer training pathway rather than a quick stop at assessment.

The process began with a few weeks of training, including a customer service experience focus and time in store. Throughout that period, I worked through an online learning module with interactive videos and manuals, and I was constantly reminded that it wasn’t employment yet—you were still being evaluated as you went.

I found training to be a turning point because I started treating it like part of the selection, not just onboarding. There were also assessments layered into the timeline, including a customer service assessment that I found manageable and a later systems training stretch
