San Francisco, CAPosted May 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with being matched on Triplebyte, so I didn’t do a separate tech screen.

After that, I talked with a recruiter by phone and then ended up scheduling a full day onsite. The onsite interview went well enough that I felt confident I’d be moving forward.

Once I passed, there was a team matching step. Then I got an offer, turned down some other options, and accepted the direction I was being pulled toward. The part that really caught me off guard was that the offer didn’t hold—my offer was rescinded because of new hiring goals or something in that lane.

Overall it felt like a process that got far, made me commit emotionally and logistically, and then ended abruptly.
