Flexport Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Positive

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I ended up getting an offer from Flexport, and the whole process felt welcoming enough that I was basically already leaning toward accepting.

The interviews didn’t feel hostile, and what I took from it was that the team culture and how the process ran made room for growth rather than treating every conversation like a single pass/fail test.

When I looked at the specifics afterward, I also compared how compensation and opportunity lined up. I didn’t love the headline number in isolation, but the bigger picture—especially the stock potential—made the offer compelling. With that combination of a positive experience during interviewing and a longer-term view on value, I felt comfortable moving forward.
