Flexport Software Engineer interview experience

HardCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

A recruiter reached out about a SWE role and told me to prepare specifically for hard LeetCode-style questions with OOP concepts.

Even though I didn’t get any detail beyond that, it shaped how I thought about the technical bar: it sounded like the difficulty would be higher and that the interview wouldn’t just be about brute coding, but also about structuring solutions with object-oriented thinking.

That message was the main thing I took away from the process. It made me view the upcoming rounds as intentionally demanding, and I approached them with that in mind.
