Fitch Ratings Business Analyst interview experience

Toronto, ONPosted Nov 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The department head seemed genuinely interested in interviewing me, so I was optimistic heading into the process.

After the interview, though, the recruiting team never came back with any decision—no feedback, no update, and no clear message.

Even after I reached out twice with follow-ups, I still didn’t get anything concrete. Considering I had taken time out of my day to participate, the silence felt unprofessional and honestly disappointing.

I never received an offer, but more than anything, the experience stuck with me because it felt like my effort went into a black box. The lack of communication was the real problem, not the interview itself.
