I had two initial interviews, one with an analyst and one with a director.

Both were very conversational, and the people I spoke with came across as genuinely nice. I felt like the interviews went well.

After those conversations, I waited and waited—three weeks passed and I hadn’t heard back from the recruiter. It wasn’t just slow; it was unclear and left me wondering where I stood.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, and what I remember most is the stretch of silence after what had felt like a positive, friendly process. The inconsistency between the interview vibe and the follow-up timing made it harder to feel confident in the end.
