My process started with a phone interview with a managing director in the department I applied to.

He was very easy to talk with and focused mostly on motivation rather than anything overly technical. After that call, I was invited to an assessment that was split into a presentation and a written exercise.

Overall, the day felt straightforward and manageable, without the sense that I was walking into an overly complicated technical test. I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the experience still had a calm tone, and the structure—motivational chat first, then a presentation plus writing—made the expectations feel pretty direct.
