Austin, TXPosted Apr 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first round was fairly short with a recruiter—about forty-five minutes—covering basic behavioral and programming concept questions, and then leaving space for my questions at the end.

I felt satisfied with how I came across, but I still received a generic rejection afterward, and they wouldn’t provide detailed feedback when I asked.

When I look back on how my next experience played out, the longer round was almost three hours and included logic tests, behavioral questions, and coding. It was more intensive than the first conversation, and it made the technical expectations feel more concrete. I didn’t get an offer there either.

The frustrating part in my process was the lack of clarity and the silence after the effort, especially when I specifically requested feedback.
