I interviewed for a Research Analyst role at FactSet with an overall average-to-difficult experience, and while the rounds were fairly smooth, the timeline felt long.

Recruiter/initial HR touchpoint — A recruiter and then an HR interviewer checked my background, role interest, and company knowledge, with some basic technical questioning.
Aptitude / assessment — I took an aptitude test or written assessment that leaned on finance and stock/market concepts (difficulty varied by person).
Team/technical interview — I was asked technical questions tied to finance, accounting, and market/stock topics, plus follow-ups when I didn’t fully understand.
Panel / multi-interviewer discussion — I answered scenario-style and technical questions
