I interviewed for a Research Analyst role that felt long and intimidating, with technical depth rising quickly and panelists asking many probing questions over multiple stages.

Initial screen (phone/video/HR) — general fit and experience questions, used to set expectations and confirm my readiness.
Technical assessment/interview — finance/accounting knowledge checks (financial statements and terminology), described as tricky or challenging in some cases.
Panel interview (TLs/managers/operations) — a dense Q&A with a lot of technical and situational questions, sometimes with managers rephrasing the same themes to test consistency.
Operations/company-depth focus — some rounds leaned heavily into how corporate operations relate to the analyst
