Toronto, ONPosted Jun 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I faced a particularly demanding case-heavy set of rounds where each case had to be explored actively with lots of on-the-fly calculation and opinion-building.

Multiple case interviews (3 total) — ran three case rounds led by different directors/partners.
Case-led by me — I had to ask questions to uncover new facts and drive the information-gathering.
Market sizing + current opinion — cases required quick quantitative work (e.g., sizing a market) and the ability to form and defend viewpoints about industries or current events. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that you need both analytical stamina and an ability to reason out loud under pressure.
