Mountain View, CAPosted Nov 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interviews were very tightly packed—there wasn’t really any breathing room between rounds, and everything was essentially one block after another.

It ended up feeling tiring because there was barely any time between sessions.

I also remember being surprised by how they reacted to how I approached the questions. I kept relying on straightforward math paths, and the interviewers seemed to push back with reactions like they didn’t want me going that route. It left me feeling like they were looking for a specific style of reasoning and didn’t want detours.
