I interviewed at my university first, and then I went through an onsite at Pure Storage.

The on-campus round focused on operating systems, and then the onsite was three back-to-back technical interviews.

What surprised me was how packed it was—there weren’t even meaningful breaks between interviews. The questions themselves were what I expected in topic, but some of them didn’t feel like they really measured practical coding skill. The overall experience was pleasant, aside from the strange feel of a few questions, but I still didn’t end up matching what they were looking for.
