I went through an initial recruiter screen and then a sequence that was mostly coding-focused but had some frustrating logistics.

After applying, I got a phone interview a couple of weeks later where the first part was non-technical—background and interests. Then they gave me a coding challenge to complete over the span of a few hours.

Once I passed that, I moved into a 45-minute Skype technical interview with an engineer. The discussion centered on a web application and algorithm question. It wasn’t described as being impossibly hard, but I didn’t make it to the final stage, and the whole thing ended without me getting a clear explanation for why.
