Oakland, CAPosted Jan 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first step was a phone screen that was mostly fundamentals.

After that, I was given a coding challenge that took about three hours, and honestly it felt a bit unfair given how much time it took me compared to the amount of time it likely took them.

The final stage was a difficult onsite that stretched nearly a full workday. By then, the process didn’t feel like a quick evaluation—it felt like a full commitment, with the onsite being the biggest hurdle. I didn’t end up with an offer, and the experience left me feeling like the time cost was high relative to what I got out of it.
