Everlaw Software Engineer interview experience

There weren’t behavioral questions in that round, and I remember the interviewer going straight into the technical discussion with an expectation that I could talk through my approach without needing to code.

The format was very conversation-driven: I was asked to work through abstract problems and, for everything, the interviewer wanted the runtime complexity. Even when the questions felt straightforward conceptually, I had to anchor my reasoning to performance. I thought it went well because I stayed consistent with my explanations and answered the complexity expectations.
