San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and also through a college career fair, then moved into a phone technical screening that felt friendly and pretty relaxed.

The questions started as easy CS foundational material, and then shifted into a few harder ones related to memory issues in multithreading.

The process ended up being quick on my end—three days from applying to interviewing in one timeline—and the conversation style was calm enough that it didn’t feel like a gotcha. I wasn’t offered the role, but I left with the sense that they were testing fundamentals plus concurrency understanding rather than chasing obscure skills.
