Richmond, VAPosted May 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience didn’t feel very welcoming when I arrived.

Before that, the person I spoke with seemed off—annoying and overly self-focused—and the conversation didn’t lead into anything meaningful about the role. When I got to the office, people didn’t really greet me like you’d expect, which made the whole thing feel a little like a scam.

Even with that uncomfortable first impression, I still ended up getting an offer. The mismatch between how the process felt socially and how it turned out surprised me, and I walked away thinking I should’ve trusted my instincts more about the overall atmosphere even though the final decision went in their favor.
