After a personality quiz, I scheduled a long technical interview that I completed without ever speaking live to someone at the company.

The format was essentially a proctored or monitored assessment where I had to work through technical problems on my own.

It was a lengthy gate, and because there was no direct interaction, it felt like the test itself carried all the evaluation weight. I didn’t receive an offer. Looking back, the biggest thing that stuck with me was how impersonal the process felt at the technical stage—very efficient on time, but hard to influence once you were inside the assessment.
