I experienced a disheartening process where the technical focus (or communication) felt misaligned, leading to delays or frustration despite some earlier technical success.

Technical rounds with poor signaling — I was not clearly told what interview format to expect, and the interviewer’s focus skewed heavily toward theory.
Interview style mismatch — In another attempt, the questioning was overly nitpicky on obscure language quirks rather than practical engineering skills.
Unprofessional process / coordination problems — I cleared earlier rounds, but after that communication stalled for weeks about the next step.
Scheduling/availability issues — I was left waiting because the next interview panel wasn’t available, putting L2 on hold.
