Leicester, EnglandPosted Feb 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a relatively swift, recruiter-led process for a Software Engineer role, moving from early interviews to an on-site assessment centre.

Online application + recruiter/telephone interview — a first step that led into further screening.
Assessment centre (on-site in Leicester) — I experienced a site tour, then a group exercise and a presentation, followed by interviews with a Q&A and lunch with current graduates.
Interviews during the assessment — I was evaluated alongside the other activities, with people onsite staying helpful throughout. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the overall process felt well-organized and fast, with strong support from interviewers.
