I had a quick, disappointing interview because the recruiter immediately flagged a profile mismatch.

Scheduled interview (pre-shared resume/job description) — The role details and my resume were shared in advance, but at the start the interviewer asked for my introduction and then indicated they weren’t looking for my profile.
Ended immediately — The conversation was concluded shortly after that realization, with no substantive evaluation. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that alignment should be confirmed earlier to avoid wasted time on both sides.
