Chicago, IL2011 interview · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Account Executive role in 2011–2012 with a concise recruiter-to-in-person arc, including a brief shadow and background screening.

Short recruiter phone interview — a brief call (around 10–15 minutes) to discuss my background and fit.
In-person interview with the recruiter + manager — I continued the conversation in the office, paired with time to meet a manager.
Job shadow — there was about 30 minutes observing a sales employee and hearing practical pros/cons.
Screening/compliance close-out — I completed a background check (and in one account there was no drug test). Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience felt fairly smooth and transparent about expectations.
