I ran into a more uncomfortable process where expectations (like education and compensation clarity) weren’t handled transparently.

In-person interview (post recruiter step) — I was brought in after early stages, but the conversations felt like they were trying to sell the opportunity rather than truly align on fit.
Compensation/structure questions — commission structure and how earnings work were vague, and I left feeling there was high turnover.
Fit requirements discussion — I was challenged on having a degree even though it wasn’t presented as a requirement upfront. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is to validate degree/eligibility and commission details early in the process.
