Chicago, ILPosted Jun 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an account-sales style hiring flow that felt disorganized and oddly hard to connect with, mostly over the phone and early scheduling.

Phone screen — A recruiter call started with standard background/job-hunt questions, but I felt like the interviewer wasn’t really listening and the call environment was distractingly chaotic.
Scheduling slip / rework — In a similar phone-screen setup, interviews were repeatedly delayed due to recruiter scheduling issues before I finally got to the behavioral questions.
Phone screen that didn’t match the posted role — In another attempt, the call covered typical behavioral prompts, but I was interviewed for a different job than expected and the interviewer seemed scripted.
