Chicago, ILPosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Echo Global Logistics and the process felt fairly easy-to-average, with a big emphasis on culture and a clear training path after the interviews.

Recruiter screen — a first conversation to align on the role and my background.
Manager interview — an about-30-minute discussion covering expectations, pay structure, and training; the hiring manager treated me respectfully.
Shadowing / in-person exposure — I shadowed a rep to see the day-to-day on the floor.
Post-interview training overview — I heard that training would be extensive and that onboarding would follow shortly. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, but the overall vibe was friendly and informative.
