Echo Global Logistics Account Executive interview experience

No offer

United StatesPosted Oct 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first step was a phone interview that didn’t get off the ground for me.

The interviewer felt unwelcoming and completely unexcited, and the whole thing came across as if she was reading responses from a sheet while trying to move through questions as fast as possible. After answers, she kept giving generic confirmations that didn’t feel personal, and that made it hard for me to believe she cared about what I was saying.

Even though I went in expecting a normal recruiter screening, I came away with a genuinely bad first impression. The questions felt scripted, and when I tried to get a sense of what they were really looking for, the interaction never clarified it.
