eBay Software Engineer interview experience

After the technical part, there was a behavioral interview to assess fit with the team and company culture.

The difficulty felt average overall, and the structure was pretty clear: technical depth first, then behavior. I remember it being less random than some processes I’ve seen, because the topics stayed consistent across rounds.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience didn’t feel chaotic—it felt like a standard, well-defined evaluation of core engineering skills plus cultural alignment.
