My loop for eBay ended up totaling five rounds.

It was structured as one coding-focused round and four technical rounds, with the coding done in core Java and an additional systems-design component.

On the technical side, I was questioned on core Java concepts and then pushed into specific topics like OOP, concurrency, collections, and microservices. There was also discussion around Spring Boot and garbage collection. Across the interviews, the difficulty felt mostly in the average-to-challenging range, and overall I got to a point where I received an offer.
