I had a simple DuPont interview flow that started with a phone chat and then moved to an in-person conversation shortly after, with a friendly tone.

Phone interview — A conversation about the company, the role, and my fit.
In-person interview — A campus or in-person discussion that stayed pleasant and relatively simple.
Wait between touchpoints — In one case, the interview invite came months after a conference booth interaction. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that being ready to explain your background clearly on the first call helped.
