DuPont Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Negative

Rochester, NYPosted Jun 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a very drawn-out process with poor communication that dragged on for months.

Long recruiter-mediated timeline to onsite — Communication largely came through an external recruiter; from initial contact to onsite took nearly 4 months.
Late closure after onsite — Two days after interviewing, the recruiter told me they weren’t pursuing me further, with no meaningful follow-up from DuPont employees. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway is that unresponsive communication can make the experience feel unprofessional regardless of interview performance.
