I had a campus-style interview that felt like a staged filter: the content was fine, but it didn’t lead to progression.

Presentation of research + behavioral prompts — I described my research first, then answered behavioral questions for about an hour with a friendly technical interviewer.
Outcome-driven process — Despite a scheduled campus experience and many students interviewed, none of us moved to the next round and it took months to hear back. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is that campus pipelines can be selective even when interviews are comfortable.
