Pittsburgh, PAPosted Mar 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first touchpoint was an initial call with the recruiter, and then the process quickly moved into a HackerRank coding challenge.

After that, I had a Coderpad phone screen with an engineer, and then I went to the onsite for two rounds.

What stood out during the onsite whiteboarding was how strict the expectations felt. The interviewers wanted the code to be both syntactically correct and readable, and they also discussed test cases as part of the discussion. I felt like I had to think not just about solving the problem, but about presenting it cleanly and completely.

I didn’t get an offer, but the process felt fair and relatively consistent in terms of what they were evaluating—clarity and correctness mattered.
