My interview journey was technically normal in structure, but it was repeatedly derailed by mismatches, scheduling, and lack of follow-through.

Initial screen — I started with an intro/background conversation.
Hiring-manager round — In one case, I expected a deeper discussion but instead faced a full technical Elixir interview and didn’t pass.
Later multi-round process — Another path included take-home, system design, and technical questions plus brainteasers.
Communication issues — I also had a case where the HR side felt disengaged after an interview, with no updates despite follow-ups, and another where an interviewer showed up extremely late without prior communication. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer;
