Boston, MAPosted Mar 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn and had a phone screen where we discussed my background and interests.

Very soon after that, I was sent a HackerRank coding challenge, and it was by far the hardest one I’d seen—even compared to other major tech companies.

The prompt felt essentially impossible to finish within the time limit I was given, and I couldn’t complete it the way they would’ve needed. I didn’t make it past that stage, and the main thing I remember is how mismatched the challenge difficulty was for the 1.5-hour constraint.
