The first step for me was a remote timed coding interview.

It was hard and compressed: I only had 60 minutes to complete a test, and the expectation was to finish more than I could manage in that timeframe.

I ended up completing only one of the provided questions, and I couldn’t get the rest done within the allotted time. The process didn’t stretch beyond that because I was rejected after the OA stage.

Honestly, the surprise wasn’t the difficulty—it was how little slack there was. I felt like I understood at least part of what was being asked, but the time pressure prevented me from demonstrating the full solution they were looking for.
