San Mateo, CAPosted Oct 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I met a recruiter at a career fair and then did a Skype interview with an engineering team member.

The conversation was pretty chill, and the interviewer seemed engaged rather than just running through questions. Afterward, they got back to me within a few days, which felt fast.

The main thing that stuck with me was their timing on the next step: they asked for a fairly short response window after making an offer. Looking back, that rushed feeling didn’t sit great with me, even though the interview itself wasn’t bad. Ultimately, I didn’t end up taking the offer, and the speed of the follow-up process was the main reason it felt off to me.
