I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Dollar General where the manager essentially brought me in, explained the situation, and moved quickly—sometimes with minimal questioning.

Phone call → documents — Instead of a traditional interview, I was directed to bring the documents needed to start.
On-site discussion (minimal Q&A) — I was told what the job involved and, in one case, the interviewer focused on why they needed help and didn’t ask many business-related questions.
Immediate next steps — I was brought through a quick hiring decision and began the process once the start conditions were met. Outcome: No offer; even with fast movement and light questioning, it didn’t convert for me.
