I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Dollar General and experienced an overall very easy, quick screening focused on availability, basic fit, and prior retail experience.

Scheduling / setup — I shared my available hours and confirmed key logistics.
In-person or quick chat with the hiring manager — I answered general questions about background in retail, my experience, and reasons for wanting the job.
Behavioral/fit check (light) — I was asked how I’d handle and de-escalate a situation, plus general behavioral prompts.
Comp & start logistics (as needed) — I discussed pay/compensation and details like schedule and what to expect. Outcome: No offer in my case; the interviews were fast and informal, but fit and compensation expectations
