I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Dollar General, and the hiring path felt faster than expected with minimal steps beyond the basics.

Application + quick screen — I applied and moved quickly through the hiring process, with not much to prepare for.
Limited questioning / clarification — The conversation was short and I left mainly focused on practical details; I was later confused about internal IDs. Outcome: I was hired, and the takeaway was that sometimes the process is mostly administrative once you meet the basic requirements.
