I went through a process that felt very structured and presentation-heavy for an Account Executive role, spanning several meetings and ending with a senior leadership final.

Cross-functional meetings + process context — I met with different parts of the business to understand cloud providers and the enterprise sales motion.
Mock presentations with key leaders — I prepared and delivered mock presentations with feedback, focusing on how I’d communicate the sales approach.
Final leadership stage — I completed additional conversations before reaching the final decision. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but it was a clear, orchestrated loop aimed at seeing how I present and sell.
