My experience came across as not terribly difficult, but it required more than just coding.

The technical expectations broadened beyond algorithms, including knowledge around databases and how they come into play.

API calls were part of what I was evaluated on, and overall they wanted me to demonstrate I was a well-rounded candidate rather than someone who could only solve coding puzzles. That broader scope made the round feel more comprehensive than I initially expected.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I left feeling like I understood the direction of what they valued: practical system knowledge alongside programming fundamentals.
