Discover Software Engineer interview experience

The early rounds felt like they were steadily advancing, but the experience soured right at the end. After the last interview, I got ghosted—no updates at all.

Weeks later, I was contacted again to say I was still being considered, which briefly renewed my hope. That contact didn’t lead to closure, though. More weeks passed without any new information, and eventually I was told they had decided to go with someone else. The whole thing felt drawn out and unclear, and the lack of timely communication after the final round was what stuck with me most.
